Staff that have been hired should receive an email from WORKBRIGHT. This email will give you instructions on how to submit your papers, forms and certificates for employment. If you have not received an email, please contact us at 401-539-2311 or email us at: campyawgoog@scouting.org

Working Papers Information

DID YOU KNOW......If you are under age 16 and work in Rhode Island, you NEED a Special Limited Permit to Work form to work!
RI Residents:

Working Papers
In Rhode Island, Minors 14 to 15 years of age are required by law to obtain "Working Papers" for employment.
Most employers also require Working Papers for minors age 16 to 17.
Step 1
You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader to open and print the Working Papers form.
If you don't already have Acrobat Reader, click to download and install Acrobat Reader for free.
Click to open the Working Papers form and print it.
Step 2
Complete items 1 thru 7. Once you fill this out and email it to: CAMP YAWGOOG we will sign it and email it back to you
Employer completes items 8 and 9. (See above) 
Parent or guardian completes items 10 and 11.
Step 3
Bring completed form along with proof of age, such as (1) Birth Certificate, (2) Baptismal Certificate, or (3) Rhode Island driver's license with photograph to your local high school. Be sure to call for hours of operation.

Connecticut and Rhode Island Residents Residents:

Working Papers

You will need two forms, you can download them below
Intention to Employ Minor.
Limited Work Permit

Step 2
The Intention to hire minor form needs to be filled out and emailed to campyawgoog@scouting.org
or can be brought to the Bucklin office Mon-Fri 8am-12pm or 1pm to 4pm
We will then sign it and email it back to you. 
Complete items 1 thru 7. Once you fill this out and email it to: 
Employer completes items 8 and 9. (See above) 
Parent or guardian completes items 10 and 11.
Step 3
The Limited work permit should be downloaded and filled out. This will be signed by the issuing officer at the respective school system.

FOR CONNECTICUT RESIDENTS: Bring completed form along with proof of age, such as (1) Birth Certificate, (2) Baptismal Certificate, or (3) Rhode Island driver's license with photograph to the Chariho Regional High School room A3 between the hours of 7:00 A.M. and 3:00 P.M. Monday thru Friday (excluding holidays).

Directions to Chariho High School

FOR RHODE ISLAND RESIDENTS  you will take to your local school system.

All Other States:
Check your with your local school system.
For any applications that you need us to fill out or sign email the form to: campyawgoog@scouting.org we will sign it and email it back to you.

Below are the two forms you will need to present to the school. The intent to employ must be filled out and
​ mailed/brought to/emailed to camp prior to your arrival on staff. It will be signed and emailed back to you.
