2023 Blood Drives
Every Friday from 8:30 to 4:30 Yawgoog Scout Reservation and the Rhode Island Blood Center provide an opportunity for adult leaders and scouts 16 or older to give blood on Fridays during their week. All donors receive a patch! There will be a signup sheet available in the Bucklin.
16-year-old donors: You can donate blood with a parent's permission and must have a signed permission slip. You must weigh 130 pounds or more. Donors over 17 years of age, to donate a pint of whole blood: Men and women must weigh 110 pounds or more and there is no height requirement. There is also no upper age limit to donating blood! For the best possible donation experience, please prepare for your donation! All donors must be feeling well and healthy on the day of donation and be in good overall health. You can donate on most medications and with various medical conditions. Did you know?
