Keep Illness from Ruining Camp!
Don’t let illness ruin camp for you, your Scout, and other Scouts.
It’s better to stay home if you or your Scout has any of the following symptoms 24 hours prior to the trip.
§ Fever (100.4 F or greater)
§ Vomiting
§ Diarrhea
If you or your Scout has any two or more of the following symptoms 24 hours prior to camp, you should also stay home.
§ Unexplained extreme fatigue or muscle aches
§ Rash
§ Cough
§ Sore throat
§ Open sore
If you’ve experienced only one of the above symptoms or if you’ve been in contact with someone who has been sick, especially with a communicable disease, consult a doctor and consider staying home as well.
If a Scout cannot attend due to illness, they can attend later in the summer as part of our Fun Friends & Adventure program, or receive a full refund (with a doctor’s note)
